Role ideas:
- Record-keeper:
- Types out info in the documents
- Check that everyone is alright with what's written.
- Hands-on:
- Physically manipulates the apparatus to run experiments
- Physics interpreter:
- Observes/Analyzes the data as it comes in, may be responsible for doing quick sanity checks
- “is a 10s period really reasonable to observe?”
- Skeptic:
- Considers ways in which the model and setup might have mis-matches
- Inventory analyzer:
- Looks at what is available in the room for the lab, brings findings back to group
- Decider:
- Makes the final choice at important moments
- e.g. “We should start out with 4 different angles”
- Scholar:
- Reads out important parts of the wiki to the group, directs questions.
