Ideas for PHYS142 labs 2022
Structure
- E&M topics seem less amenable to exploration than mechanics topics. Probably a bit more closed form.
- May not be so easy to develop 2 day project type labs.
- A primary goal should be to develop skills like using scopes, meters, fn. generators, etc.

- Intro to circuits, scopes and electrical measurements. W3
- Henry's Fields Experiment.
- Coulombs Law. W4
- Capacitative discharge. W4
- Force between current carrying wires. W5
- Induced magnetic fields. W6
- Faraday's law using the iolab. W7
- Resonance.
